Col 1:9-18

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Got this note & link from Dan Griffiths…

Have not seen this in the news, except today a summary in a Christian news service. This is the only article I have been able to find, and it treats the story as a victory.

A short one from Ellen Booth…

One Sunday after church a mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, “Don't be scared; you'll get your quilt.”

Needless to say, the mom was perplexed.

Later in the day, the pastor stopped by for tea, and the mom asked him what that morning’s Sunday school lessons had been about. He said, “Be not afraid; thy comforter is coming.”

This a very powerful pro-life video…

Haha…
Adult's Morning Prayer:
O God, I thank you that I have come so far this day without giving offense or hurting another. I thank you that my addictions have not taken over my life this day. I thank you that I have not yet lost my temper, nor shown disrespect to any creature. I have not lost myself in worry, self-doubt or lack of courage. Be with me and sustain me with your love. And from this point onward it is going to be much more difficult. Because God, I need to get up and get dressed now. Amen.

And here is a list of weird things to ponder… (if you have received this mailing for a long time, you know how much I like “lists”! John()_:-)

1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.
2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire.
3. It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
4. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
5. Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.
6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.
8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is probably not for you.
10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and tell fishing stories with his buddies all day.
11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably a wise investment.
12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
13. Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.
14. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
15. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
16. A closed mouth gathers no foot.
17. Duct tape is like 'The Force.' It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
18. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.
19. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.
20. Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
21. Never miss a good chance to shut up.
22. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

This next article has some links you MIGHT want to check out. This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart – seeing Christians set free from the yoke of bondage! My fishing buddy, Dale Sides, has some great info to share, but your life may never be the same if you stick a toe in these waters!

The Basics of Deliverance

Dear Facebook Friends,

The enclosed link will take you to an article entitled “The Basics of Deliverance.” It is an adaptation of a chapter from my T.R.U.C.O.P.S. e-book, which is posted in its entirety on our http://www.facebook.com/l/dec1f;www.LMCI.org website in the e-store section. I believe it is a fundamental mistake to assume any of us are immune to demons and their influences. When I recently had some battles with them, this information was very, very helpful in exercising authority over them. (The e-book’s message is just as potent for the writer as it is for the reader.)

We have not published this book in paper form due to lack of finances, but it has received rave reviews from those who have downloaded it. Along with its strength of teaching the basics of deliverance and showing how to be free from pesky demons, it also has a lot of links and references to other works from my peers in the International Society of Deliverance Ministers.

As a blessing to you and others you may be working with, we are offering T.R.U.C.O.P.S. as a free e-book for the month of June 2010 through the http://www.facebook.com/l/dec1f;www.LMCI.org e-store. We hope that you take advantage of this offer and forward it on to others who need the information also. Perhaps we will receive enough donations to publish it in paper, but regardless, the e-book will return to its former purchase price after June 30th.

Please let us know the impact it has on you and others you may be working with. If you’d like to schedule an Exercising Spiritual Authority class where we do deliverance, please call the LMCI office at 540-586-5813. Be a “TRU COP” of the spirit realm and exercise your authority over demons.

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
